UH ITS IAM

Overview

UH Groupings is enterprise software for managing authorizations and memberships across the University system.

I ran accessbility tests using axe DevTools and Lighthouse on Chrome for the UH Groupings user interface. I went through each page and component and tested to make sure everything was accessible for screen reader users and also color blind users. I tested opening and closing modals using only the keyboard, clicking buttons, tabbing through content, and made sure screen reader labels were accurate and descriptive.

The technology stack that the UH Groupings project uses is: Angular, Bootstrap, Java Spring Boot, and Maven. I fixed accessibility bugs and other UI bugs that came up. My boss would consult me and ask me for advice for different UI layouts.

I also worked on the UH Login Page, which is used by the entire UH System of about 40,000+ users. For the login page, I helped my boss create a responsive layout and tested the accessibility and function of the “Show/Hide Password” button on multiple browsers.
